DESCRIPTION:High Five Friday with SweetPlot, 5 – 10PM @ Mirus Art Bar\nJoin us for High Five – 5 hours of $5 drinks and $5 small plates featuring live band performance by our resident musicians SweetPlot.\nThis is an all ages event.\nThis week, January 28th:\nSKATE art exhibit by:\nWonderland SF (@wonderlandsf)\nCurated by Wonderland SF, Mirus is thrilled to bring you this unique experience at our gallery in San Francisco. Over 140 artists will use skate decks as their canvas using both paint and sculpture that are sure to capture and inspire the imagination.\nWonderland SF has been curating in the Bay Area for over 15 years and is excited to bring back her art family together.\nLive performance by:\nSweetPlot (@sweetplotmusic)\nFormed by musicians from multiple bands in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2014, Sweet Plot quickly arrived on stages across California and beyond. With their unique blend of funk, rock, soul and world music, Sweet Plot cooks up a phonic stew which never fails to energize a dance floor. Blazing guitar, jumping polyrhythms, screaming horns and powerful vocals all punctuate a vintage sound reminiscent of the rock and funk of the 1970s, but with a not so subtle modern polish. Since 2016 the group has released four studio albums of original material with a fifth on its way in 2022. Keep an eye out for new music as the group gears up to hit the road again and release a string of new singles, starting with “Molly Molly” on 11/10 and a brand new Xmas song to follow just in time for the holidays.\n———————\nCOVID-19 MASK MANDATE & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS UPDATE(S):\nUntil further notice, all persons entering Mirus Gallery must wear a face-covering (well-fitted mask) at all times, unless actively drinking. To gain entry to Mirus Gallery, all guests must provide proof of full-vaccination against COVID-19. Per the ‘Safer Return Together’ Health Officer Order (C19-07y *updated*) we will no longer allow negative tests for entry to Mirus Gallery, only proof of full vaccination (14 days from final dose).\nThank you for doing your part to keep our employees, guests and community safe & healthy. \n
